IEEE-NMREC was formed about 4 years ago , our Students Chapter has changed in terms of increase in membership and also the number of activities that are taken care of by us. All of this by ever helpful hand of our Student Branch Counselor: V .Mohan.
Our IEEE-Students Branch of NMREC takes pride to inform that we are a community of similar minded enthusiasts , passionate about upcoming technologies and also believe firmly that if used in the right way, with the effective guidance and good teamwork, technology can shape our life in a better manner.
We are planning to have lot of activities through IEEE-NMREC- from weekly meetings to conducting events to organizing tech-talks , we will do it all.In evolving world of today, networking plays a great role in knowledge obtaining.So, with the international fraternity given to us by the IEEE we will obtain information from the experts themselves and be a part of something which is lot bigger than any of us.
Student Consortium for Advancement and Learning in Engineering Education - SCALE is a Student initiative, working in partnership with IUCEE, which is a platform, of the student, for the students. Over the past years, IUCEE has been dedicatedly working in improving the scope of Engineering Education, through its programmers and ventures. CSE department has initiated an IUCEE-SCALE a 3 Day Regional Student workshop on the theme 21st Century Grand Challenges in Engineering with the three tracks - Energy, Infrastructure and Development, Advance Learning from 20th September 2018 to 22nd September 2018. Day one started with an inaugural session and keynote addresses by Principal Dr. Divya Nalla, IQAC members Dr. C.M. Varaprasad and Dr. C. Radhakrishna. Later it was followed by the facilitators Ms. A. Shreya, Mr. Luv Gupta and Mr. B. Rohit interacting with the students. The students were asked to form groups based on the three different tracks: Energy, Infrastructure and Development and Advanced Learning. On day two students started working on the posters relevant to their selected track. Day three commenced with power point presentations by the students. The event concluded by a valedictory function. The student got to learn a lot from various activities, debates, brainstorming session, discussions and much more with primary focus on Engineering Education with help of project based Learning and Outcome Based Education.
The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is a non-profit national level technical Society. The major objective of the society is to assist and contribute in producing the top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industry and other organisations. The college has both ISTE faculty and Student chapters. These chapters were established during the year 2013. Majority of the current faculty and students of NMREC are the members of these chapters.
Members meeting convened every year to elect the office bearers. These office bearers organise the college level events and intra and inter departmental technical events such as paper presentations, poster presentations, workshops etc., under the guidance of the Principal and the faculty advisor.

As an individual member-driven society of mobility practitioners the ownership of SAEINDIA wrests with its members who are Individuals from the mobility community, which includes Engineers Executives from Industry, Government Officials, Academics and Students
SAEINDIA is a strategic alliance partner of SAE International registered in India as an Indian nonprofit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of mobility industry in India.
SAENMREC Collegiate club was formed in the year 2009 with 50 student members initiated by Dr.T.V.S.M.R.Bhushan and Mr.N.Pavan Kumar as faculty advisers.

☛ A team of 10 members from 2nd and 3rd year Mechanical Engineering are Participating in Electric Two Wheeler Design Competition -2019 (ETWDC- MAVERICKS).
☛ Mr.Shashank and Mr.Saidhith of 3rd year Mechanical Engineering have bagged 2nd prize in Student Convention Tier-3 during 18-19 academic year
The college has been an institutional member of CSI (Computer Society of India) since 2011. Various Technical Activities are conducted under CSI College chapter.
SWECHA is a social movement that works towards enlightening the masses with the essence of free software and to liberate knowledge to the commoners. This organization aims at providing global software solutions to the local people with the Free Software development model by working together with the community of developers and users all over.
An Internship Programme from 27th May -25th June 2018, was organized by SWECHA in Free software/Open Hardware technologies and worked on projects showcased in the link code.swecha.org/sodata/ at MLRIT, Dundigal.
A session on Technology Trends was conducted at NMREC by swecha.
A five day IndustryOriented Residential Program (winter camp) was held from January 4th -8th January 2019, at Sree Dattha Engineering College. Around 40 students from various engineering colleges attended this camp. There were mainly three tracks running collaterally named IOT, Data science and AR & VR.
A Session on HTML and CSS was given by M.Vivek of CSE III B on 11th January 2019 at MGIT.
Swecha conducts weekly sessions on various Trending technologies on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at NMREC. The first technical Sunday was conducted on 10th February 2019. The Session was on the basics of python and demonstration of BALA SWECHA operating system. The second technical Sunday was conducted on 24th February 2019. The session was started with the importance of machine learning and its usage in real life. There after it went on with the classification techniques of machine learning. The third technical Sunday was conducted on 03rd March 2019. The session was on the machine learning tool ORANGE. Initially speaker gave a clear demonstration about the tool. There after all the participants were made to install the tool in their laptops and had hands on. The fourth technical Sunday was conducted on 10th March 2019. The session was on the machine learning tool KERAS. Around 30 Students from various colleges attended the session.
